About Us

Cub Scout Pack 446 is a Family Scouting Pack in West Pearland. Pack 446’s Charted Organization is the Manvel Volunteer Fire Department. Over previous years we have had scout enrollment as high as over 100! Although we are a large Pack, we consider ourselves a family which allows us to feel like a much smaller Pack.

We usually meet as a Pack the last Thursday of the month from 7:00-8:00PM in the Silvercrest Elementary cafeteria during the school year. Meetings for 2022-2023 may be held outdoors or virtually depending on Covid19 guidance. We have activities throughout the year such as pinewood derby, rocket launch, raingutter regatta, scouting skills, character-building service projects, summer camps, and 2-3 family campouts per year. Like our Facebook page for upcoming event and to view pictures of recent activities.

New scouts are grouped into a “den” for activities, which consists of 5-10 scouts of the same age. Dens typically meet twice per month to do fun, enriching activities and work on requirements to advance and earn awards.

Our scouts have a great scouting experience because we have adult volunteers to make things great and we’re always looking for new volunteers to help us keep things great. The majority of our mom and dad volunteers have had little to no scouting experience growing up, but do a great job with help from each other and the training resources at our disposal.

Annual Pack “Dues” help cover annual BSA membership dues, pack t-shirts for new members, scout handbooks, awards, activity supplies, and other costs for the program year (i.e. school year). After registration, your family will be emailed an electronic invoice with the balanced due to Pack 446.
